Beware of Fake PayPal Stablecoins

PayPal announced today that it is launching a new Stablecoin called PYUSD.

The stablecoin is backed by the US dollar and will be issued by Paxos Trust.

PYUSD will be available to PayPal customers in the United States and will be used to facilitate payments and transfers between PayPal users.

The stablecoin will also be available to merchants who accept PayPal payments.

The launch of PYUSD is a significant move by PayPal and is seen as a sign of the growing acceptance of stablecoins by the mainstream financial industry.

*However, during the last few hours since the announcement, the Xplorisk platform detected lookalike coins that are pretending to be PYUSD; below is a partial list.

*Watch out for fake lookalike tokens.
